GEAR UP Alabama Juniors,
Welcome to the 2018-2019 academic year. Many exciting things will happen this year as you continue preparing for college. You are eligible to receive a full tuition scholarship, because of your participation in GEAR Up, to the Alabama Community or Technical College of your choice upon successful high school graduation.

In order to receive the GEAR UP Student Scholarship, there are several requirements that you, the student must satisfy. Listed below are specific dates you must complete the requirements. It is very important that you complete each requirement before the stated deadline. Not completing or missing a requirement, will result in you losing eligibility for the scholarship.

College Intent Form -- September 3, 2018 through October 5, 2018

Follow Up Intent -- March 1, 2019 through March 31, 2019

FAFSA -- Beginning October 1, 2019

Complete Scholarship Packet -- October 1, 2019
