Mr Phelps is a retired Troy City Police Officer and is now the Truancy Officer for Pike County Schools. He will work with parents and students once a student has 3 unexcused absences from school. He will also assist in any law enforcement activity if needed, help assure safety of students at school, talk with parents and students about any problems at school or home, and work closely with the Juvenile Probation Officer.
