Mr. McClure has worked in education for nearly 20 years.  Mr. McClure attended Troy University where he received a B.S. in Psychology and an M.S. in Education.  He is completing another M.S. in School Counseling.  Mr. McClure has worked as a curriculum specialist, a software trainer and presenter, a behavior specialist, and a classroom teacher throughout his various educational assignments.

At the Pike County Alternative Learning Center (ALC), Mr. McClure facilitates a morning assembly each morning to coordinate the day's activities.  The morning assembly includes: pledge to the flag, moment of quiet reflection, reciting a personal belief statement, and reciting a character statement.  The morning activities are wrapped up with a character education and social skills teaching time.  Student behavior at the ALC is monitored and recorded throughout each day.
